One week completed!
I have just finished foam rolling my back; it is crazy but I'm sore! In one week I have walked 31km. In all honesty I don't think I would normally walk that much in a month! I'm a real couch potato and have never been one to take daily walks (more than just an amble when letting my dog sniff around) This challenge is not only rasing money for a cause close to my heart, but it's improving my health. Here's to the next three weeks and remaining 69km!ÂI'm making the impossible, possible, by taking part in Australia's Walk & Jog Challenge to raise much needed funds for dementia research.
This is for my beautiful Grandma 💖
I’m taking part in Australia's Walk & Jog Challenge by committing to raise much needed funds to support people impacted by dementia.
But I need your help! Please make a donation to support my efforts and help me to make the impossible, possible.
My fundraising will help support the work of Dementia Australia Research Foundation, funding innovative Australian research into dementia causes, diagnosis, treatment and one day a cure.
Thank you for your support.

Grandma loved her family and it was heartbreaking to see the way Dementia took her memories. She went through so much and would have hated ending up the way she did. It is a cruel illness for both the individual diagnosed and their family too. This is a lovely thing to do for a special cause. Love Mum. Xo

I have 3 close friends whose Mothers suffered from Dementia, however it is the family members, the carers who suffer more. A very worthy cause, thank you.
